In 1937, Santa Fe purchased 4-6-4 Hudson’s for their high priority passenger train service between Los Angeles, CA and Chicago, IL. Locomotive #3460 was built streamlined; painted light, robin's egg blue and silver, and became known as the "Blue Goose". It was Santa Fe's only streamlined locomotive, featuring extensively in railroad publicity and was a rail fan favorite. Now you can have a “Blue Goose” train for yourself with Williams 2-Car Add-on Set and 4-Car 60’ Streamlined Passenger Car Set (available separately). NOTE: Image shows only one car of a two car set.
