Matchitecture is the ultimate building challenge! Built from a single construction element, the microbeam (match stick), this provides the builders greatest challenge. Use the templates provided to cut the microbeams to the correct length, and glue them together. When the building was nearing completion in 1930, a 180 foot needle-like finial was hoisted into place atop the building, making the Chrysler Building the world's tallest building in the USA, at 1100 feet. 850 match sticks are required to assemble this matchstick model, the Chrysler Building model kit.
