The Estes Launchables Starter Set is a complete starter set that includes two exciting model rockets, the Black Diamond and the Astron Outlaw. The Black Diamond streaks over 1400 feet and the Astron Outlaw is almost two feet tall! The Black Diamond is a high flying, Skill Level 1 kit that requires a slightly higher level of modeling skills. It couldn't look any cooler with the suggested black and red design. With laser cut balsa fins, single piece body tube and self-stick decals, this cloud busting rocket can be ready to fly in just a few hours. The Astron Outlaw is an E2X (Easy to Assemble) rocket that is easy to build and can be ready in about an hour. With a chromed fin set and nose cone, the Outlaw is really easy to spot on the launch pad and in the air. Recovery is with the help of a brightly colored 12 inch parachute. An Estes launch pad, launch controller and engines are included. Glue, plastic model cement, paint and four AA alkaline batteries for the launch controller required - sold separately.
