FeaturesIn 1942, Junkers combined features of the previous Ju 88 and the subsequent Ju 288 to create the Ju 188. On the surface, the Ju 188 was merely an improvement on the aging Ju 88's design; however, it was propelled by a more powerful engine (the 1,730 hp Jumo 213A) and could handle larger bomb loads. Later A versions were equipped with the FuG 200 sea-search radar (for recon missions) and torpedo shackles, which proved highly effective for naval strike missions. This limited edition kit features new torpedo parts and bomb rack components. Also includes photo-etched parts for the FuG 200 radar and resin nose rod cover parts. Highly detailed model kit includes waterslide decals and illustrated instructions. Decal options included: Luftwaffe 7./KG26, Code: BR, Norway, May, 1945; Luftwaffe 8./KG26, Code: BS, Norway, May, 1945; and Luftwaffe 9./KG26, Code: 1H+GT, May, 1945.
