This 1/25 scale model of the Little Red Wagon was made famous in 1965, as the first wheelstander. The Dodge A-100 compact pickup was modified by putting in a426 Hemi engine behind the cab, in front of the rear wheels. Items such as the heater, dash panel, front bumper, and body sealer were removed and the doors replaced with fiberglass versions. When the throttle was applied by owner and driver Bill Maverick Golden, it popped its front wheels into the air, while still achieving acceleration. It became a big hit with fans, and ran at drag strips throughout the USA.
