STAFF ANSWER: Yes, you can use each companies rockets on the other's launch kits. The only caution for now it will change over the next few years, I recommend using Estes igniters with Estes controllers, and Quest igniters with Quest controllers. by eHobbies C 1/11/2013

STAFF ANSWER: You will need plastic model glue for assembly, a hobby knife for assembly, and a 9 volt battery to power the launch control.
