The Piper PA-18 Super Cub was introduced in 1949 and production ceased completely during the 90’s.Even so the Piper Super Cub is still available today, as a pre-fabricated kit for private construction. The L-18C Super Cub was the well known military version of the PA-18 and was used for instructing trainee pilots. Features: Detailed surfaces with recessed panel lines and fabric texture; Open or closed cowl with 4-cylinder engine and movable propeller;Decals for civilian version and L-18C U.S. Army version; and Molded in white and clear.
