The first A-26B Invader rolled off the assembly line in 1943 and it has the distinction of being the only combat aircraft used by the United States in World War II, Korea and Vietnam. There are still some A-26s being used today in civil duties such as fire fighting and air shows. Its sixty-plus years of service attest to its excellent design, versatility and rugged durability.
