FeaturesIt's late at night. Your car has broken down. What's the sight you want to see most in your rearview mirror? A tow truck, of course (just like this '77 GMC Wrecker)! Tow trucks have been taking stranded travelers to safety since 1916, when Ernest Holmes, Sr., of Chattanooga, Tennessee transformed a typical truck into an emergency life-saver. Kit features an opening hood and telescoping pick-up boom, dual rear wheels and mud flaps, soft black tires, chrome-plated parts and decals with 24/7 wrecker truck graphics. Paint colors needed: Aluminum, Brown, Gloss Blue Metallic, GM Engine Blue, Gold, Semi Gloss Black, Silver, Transparent Red, and Turn Signal Amber.
Q & A

ANSWER: Verne , If your buying this kit because you would like a detailed kit of a '77 GMC truck....think again ! This is a reissue of the old "snap kit" Revell offered back in the 80's. The cab does offer an engine compartment, but it has VERY little detail. On the" Upside" and the reason I've bought 2 is It has an AWESOME wrecker bed that can be used with other more detailed 1/25th scale kits. One of mine is getting a Revell '65 Chevy cab, the other an AMT 90's Ford F150.This new reissue also has "Improved" tires over the original..so thats a bonus, and the wheelswhile not the best example do represent a generic 1 Ton set-up...which is hard to find in 1/25th Scale. If you want a 1Ton wrecker, This is just about your only choice so be creative and have Fun !
