Estes Advanced Model Rocket Kits are classified as Level 4-5 difficulty by Estes and represent advanced level of model rocket kit assembly. Kit features include laser cut balsa or plastic fins, plastic nose cones, plain body tubes and sophisticated designs. These kits offer as much enjoyment to build as they do in launching.
Skill Level 4 Kits
The unique air-intake ports and stylish fins of the Estes QCC Explorer Model Rocket Kit make this Skill Level 4 rocket both unique and a bit more difficult to assemble. Don’t be dissuaded by its difficulty ranking however. If you are an experienced rocketeer, this model will provide a great challenge and rewarding flight. As much master models, as they are master rockets, these kits are challenging to build and decorate but offer the highest satisfaction when executed with care. Perhaps more than with any other rockets, these beauties will stimulate your desire to build models as much as they make you yearn for more motor power.
Advanced model rocket require additional building materials including glue, hobby knives, paint and in some cases balsa filler coat. Carefully review rocket engine and launch controller requirements to ensure you have the proper equipment for lift-off.
