Offering a greater challenge than the Estes E2X Beginner Kits, these Estes kits require some painting, gluing and sanding to complete. Like all Estes Model Rockets, these kits come with complete step-by-step instructions. Assembly time varies for each model but typically these rockets take one to three hours. Many of our eHobbies customers use these kits in group settings where the assembly is accomplished over several sessions or during an afternoon camp setting.
While these kits are classified as beginner level, there is quite a variety in rocket shapes within this group. With models ranging from the small but spirited Estes Mini Mosquito to the versatile Estes Nova Payloader (which allows for you to put an object in the transparent payload tube) you are sure to find the right model for you.
As these kits are beginner grade but not designed for the youngest rocketeers, assembly of these rockets will need additional materials such as glue and hobby knives. And don’t forget rocket motors, igniters and launch controllers. Everything you need for a rocket launch is available here at eHobbies, your one stop shop for everything in model rockets.
Visit each of these rockets to choose the best model for our needs or call eHobbies customer service for personal recommendations. We are glad to help you make the right choice so you can have a successful and fun rocket launch.
