FeaturesThe Revell Classics Line is a limited re-issue of select model kits from the 1950s, 60s, or 70s. In order to ensure that this model kit resembles the original product as closely as possible, the packaging was made true-to-style using the previous original illustration as well as original decals. This model kit was produced using the original mold that was manufactured more than 30 or 40 years ago. During the 60's the safe and fast transport of heavy and highly sensitive loads took on a new meaning for the US Army. Suitable transport systems had to be procured for the new short and medium range missile systems. The powerful1 80bhp Kenworth Tractor was mated to a Fruehauf trailer. Special transportation cushions provided a secure hold for individual components. Honest John was a short range Free Flight Rocket with a range of 48 Kilometre's. In all, a total of 7089 Honest John MGR-1B' were produced. The weapons system was deployed until 1982. The German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) were also equipped with 11 Honest John Batteries. Model details: Honest John Rocket, which may be dismantled; Tractor with engine block; Choice of open or closed Bonnet; Driver Figure; Fruehauf Trailer with textured loading platform; Detailed Substructure; 3 Transport Cushions for transporting Rocket Parts; and Extensive Decal Set Maintenance Markings. Paint colors needed: Matte Antracite Gray, Matte Carmin Red, Matte Bronze Green, Metallic Silver, Matte Brown, Matte Gray, Matte Flesh, Matte Leather Brown, Silky-Matte Fiery Red, Silky-Matte White, and Metallic Steel.
