The SA 365 Dauphin 2 is a twin-engine helicopter with retractable landing gear, powered by two Textron Lycoming engines. With the U.S. Coast Guard it is deployed for medium range rescue missions under the designation HH-65A Dolphin. In France, the Dauphin 2 is mainly used as a light transport and liaison helicopter.
