FeaturesThe AH-1F Cobra (derived from the AH-1S) was for a long period of time one of the most effective US Army helicopter gunships and was also used successfully in the Gulf War. It was not until 2004 that the US Army replaced it by the AH-64, but it is still in service with the US National Guard. This combat helicopter was also very popular with export customers such as Israel. In addition to upgraded flight control system and avionics, the AH-1F has a 20 mm Gatling gun and can fire 8 TOW anti-tank missiles and also Hydra missiles.
