Q & A COMMENT: As an all around car guy and custom tunner this car has set the standard for performance and style for years to come. Simply put its a legand by Joe G 7/10/2012 COMMENT: really enjoy the detail of tamiya models by Brian W 12/23/2011 QUESTION: is this car like an rc car if it is where can i get the remote control? by rios e 6/6/2012 ANSWER: this is a scale model not an rc car by Brian W 7/6/2012 STAFF ANSWER: This is a plastic model kit, not a rc car, as stated in the description. There is no remote control. An example of a RC car is http://www.ehobbies.com/tam46602.html. Please read the title of the item which states RC car. by eHobbies C 6/6/2012 QUESTION: how does the body look like, is it in parts doors, hood, spoiler, etc. or does it come as like the clear plastic thing which one comes in parts? by rios e 6/6/2012 ANSWER: the hood is a seperate piece as are the grille and spoiler. the rest of the body is one piece. this is one of the most detailed models i have built and it goes together flawlessly. this is actually the second one i have bought. i hope this helps. by Brian W 6/6/2012 STAFF ANSWER: The detailed body is made from white plastic. The doors, hood, and trunk lid are all part of the body. You attach the bumpers, spoiler, small body detail parts, attach the clear windows, build the interior dash, steering wheel, seats, build the chassis with all the suspension components, attach the exhaust system, paint all the components, attach the wheels, and the tires. About 80 parts. by eHobbies C 6/6/2012 QUESTION: is this a model that i build from the ground up and if so what difficulty or skill level is it? by david b 2/7/2012 ANSWER: Yeah, it comes with many plastic parts attached to sprues. It's not very difficult but this is not a model for first timers. by T H 2/7/2012 ANSWER: It is a build from the ground up. It is technically a skill level 2 but is actually closer to a 3. Builds into a really nice model with a lot of detail. by Brian W 2/7/2012 QUESTION: On Tamiya USA's website they mention a Metallic Chrome Special Edition of this car, now I can't tell wether or not this Car is the Special Edition or not, because the Special Edition should have the plastic parts molded in a Chrome Blue Metallic color? by Veniamin T 1/10/2012 STAFF ANSWER: This is the standard, non-metallic chrome edition. by eHobbies C 1/12/2012 |
