Following in the foot steps of the popular NISMO Coppermix Silvia and the NISMO R34 GTR Z-Tune, Tamiya has released the Mazda RX-7 FD3S on-road radio-control RC car kit. If you are familiar with real sports cars, the RX-7 is one of the most pure vehicles that have ever graced race tracks and streets throughout the world. Well known for the RE13B 2-rotor wankel rotary powered engine, the twin turbos planted under the hood, and it's excellent handling capabilities, this scaled down RC version will not disappoint. To get your RX-7 FD3S car kit up and running, you will need the eHobbies electric starter pack, 2-Channel R/C System, and Lexan R/C Paint (see required components). For those seeking longer run times, you can upgrade to one of our higher rated Ni-MH battery packs found in the optional components below.
