Tamiya's produced a R/C version of Volkswagen's GTI Cup Car on their popular tuning friendly TT-01 chassis. The Golf GTI Cup is a one-make race series organized by Volkswagen Group Japan. The races feature Golf GTI cars which have been modified and outfitted for track use. This 1/10th Scale Cup GTI RC model car kit looks just like the real car, using colorful liveries to set their car apart from the others. . Featuring an accurately depicted scale Cup Car body using Tamiya's newest mold, this RC version is definitely a head turner. To get your Golf GTI to the cup race, you will only need the eHobbies electric starter pack, 2-Channel R/C System, and Lexan R/C Paint for completion (see required components). For those seeking longer run times, you can upgrade to one of our higher rated Ni-MH battery packs found in the optional components below.
