The Bell X-1 was designed for the sole purpose of breaking the sound barrier. Captain Chuck Yeager became the first person to go supersonic in 1947. Kit includes 2 sets of fuselage halves (one set in clear) allowing the kit to be built for display of the the rocket motor. Decals included for five different plane markings.
