Considered then to be a radical civilian aircraft, the twin-engined Cessna Skymaster was actually a very safe layout. First flew in August of 1962. The US Air Force quickly identified the civil Skymaster as being potentially useful in the war in Viet Nam and purchased a large quantity of basically the civil version in military paint. Can be built as a USAF FAC Spotter.
