Considered then to be a radical civilian aircraft, the twin-engined Cessna Skymaster was actually a very safe layout. First flew in August of 1962. The US Air Force quickly identified the civil Skymaster as being potentially useful in the war in Viet Nam and purchased a large quantity of basically the civil version in military paint. Can be built as a USAF FAC Spotter. Paint colors needed: Aircraft Gray (FS16473), Flat Black (FS37038), Ford Engine Light Blue (#2726), Bright Yellow (#2717), Insignia White (FS17875), Chrome Silver (FS17178), Red (#1103), Green (#1124), Insignia Yellow (FS33538), Dark Gull Gray (FS36321), Steel (#1780), and Gunmetal (#1795).  | This plastic model kit requires plastic cement and paint for assembly, and they are sold separately. |
